Kiwi distributors Exeed will distribute Fusion-io’s application acceleration solutions in New Zealand in a deal Exeed says will broaden its reach into the IBM, Cisco and Dell customer base.

Fusion-io offers an application acceleration memory platform which improves processing capabilities within a data center by moving process-critical or active data closer to the CPU where it is processed. The solutions combine hardware and software to develop a platform for accelerating enterprise applications, databases, cloud computing, virtualisation and big data.

Justin Tye, Exeed managing director, says Fusion-io complements Exeed’s HP infrastructure solutions offerings, while broadening its reach into IBM, Cisco and Dell’s customer bases.

“We believe there is strong demand across key industries such as finance, cloud hosting, retail, media and entertainment and in the public sector for these products, and are looking forward to working with our reseller partners to uncover potential applications for this technology,” Tye says.
