Hybrid IT garners reseller attention at Exeed roadshow
Resellers have turned out in Christchurch and Dunedin for Exeed's Best of Breed Hybrid IT Roadshow, where they've been hearing how resellers can harness hybrid IT.
Attendees at the two events have heard how hybrid IT can help create a secure, productive and high performance solution that can provide scale and value for money.
Justin Tye, Exeed managing director, says feedback on the event has been positive, with around 15 resellers turning out in each of the two cities so far.
The roadshow heads to Wellington tomorrow and Auckland on Friday.
The four city roadshow is being run in conjunction with Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Microsoft and vGrid and aims to showcase the latest cloud offerings for resellers, including an introduction to vGrid, the Waikato developed cloud services platform which provides a range of on-demand infrastructure-as-a-service and software-as-a-service solutions.
Exeed signed a distribution deal with vGrid developer LayerX in March, and Tye says the offerings, along with Microsoft Azure and Office 365, are a key focus for Exeed's cloud push.
Other sessions include an HPE update, a presentation on Windows Server 2016 by Microsoft senior product marketing manager Fred Piliu, and a presentation on Microsoft Azure and hybrid IT. Updates on Exeed's business and its cloud brand uptake are also being covered.
"It's prudent for all resellers to at least know what their options are in this space, so if they find themselves in a competitive situation and are up against someone offering cloud, at least they can say they can do it too and that they know how to do it," Tye says.
