Ingram Micro's annual Showcase is going on a road trip this year. The first event starts in Auckland from 12:30 pm today and stops at 10 cities across the country during August and October.
“This has always been a popular event as it gives resellers and vendors an ideal opportunity to network, build relationships, learn and share,” says Ingram Micro managing director Jason Langley.
The technology industry has remained resilient during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic - Langley says that vendors, distributors and partners have worked together to keep the industry's wheels turning through innovation and determination.
“The pandemic really has shown us the social and economic worth of events and travel, which broaden horizons and build the relationships which are so central to the creation of value for end customers,” he explains. “It's where a lot of business is done.
“At the same time, we've all missed the ‘in person' interaction, which is why I'm thrilled to announce the presentation of Showcase On The Road 2021 in a town or city near you.
This year the event will include features from partners including 8x8, Allied Telesis, Amazon Web Services, Fortinet, IBM, Logitech, Microsoft Surface, Norton, Red Hat, Targus, Trend Micro, Veeam, and VMware.
Plenary sessions will cover trends, insights, and developments. The events will offer direct engagement with product and marketing managers and other vendor executives, to help new and existing resellers discover new solutions to take to market and grow customer value.
Keynote speakers will include Paul Spain (Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga), Tony Alexander (Wellington and Nelson), and Cassie Roma (Christchurch, Dunedin, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, and Napier).
“We've designed a more intimate, more hands-on Showcase this year, with plenty of variety and a lot packed into a half day. By taking the show on the road, we're delivering the great value and in-person experience attendees have come to expect, on a larger scale,” says Langley.
