Cisco today announced the appointment of Ingram Micro as an Australia and New Zealand distributor of its Flip Video digital camcorders.

The Flip will launch this November in ANZ and at launch Cisco will offer the Flip Mino and MinoHD in black. Ingram Micro has been appointed as the national distributor for Flip Video in New Zealand.

Vice President for Cisco Consumer Products Asia Pacific, Craig Gledhill said: “Teaming up with Ingram Micro will help strengthen our focus on the consumer market as we launch the Flip Video into the Australian and New Zealand Market.”

He added: “The company will be able to provide its partners with fast access to the new Flip Video products so consumers will be able to buy them in time for Christmas and on an ongoing basis as the products grow in popularity.
