Ivanti continues appointment spree with new channels manager for A/NZ
Automation platform Ivanti has appointed Karen Nicholson as its newest channels manager for Australia and New Zealand, the company announced today.
As part of her new role, Nicholson will oversee the Ivanti partner ecosystem and will be responsible for educating partners about the company’s new partner programme. She will also help partners scale through co-branded marketing campaigns, account targeting, sales and technology enablement, and co-selling.
“There’s a lot of enthusiasm amongst our partners to build pipeline and generate revenue together,” says Nicholson.
“It’s such an exciting time to be joining Ivanti, and I look forward to connecting with our partners and collaborating closely on our plans for growth, profitability, and self-sufficiency.”
Nicholson joins Ivanti from Vault Cloud, where she was a partner sales manager, responsible for building and maturing the company’s partner programme. An industry veteran with 20 years of experience under her belt, she has also been a partner account manager at the Splunk practice of DNA Connect, where she worked for over four years.
Nicholson succeeds Rose Old, who will be stepping into the newly created role of Director for Ivanti’s Telco and Carrier business.
Old says she is relishing the opportunity to jump into this new key growth area.
“The work we’ve done at Ivanti over the past several years has enabled us take our strategy further and maximise growth opportunities in the telco and carrier space where we are powering the everywhere workplace with secure mobility solutions,” says Old.

Speaking of the appointments, Ivanti area vice president for A/NZ Matthew Lowe says, “Having successfully completed the consolidation of Ivanti’s channel programs, we’re now entering a new phase of growth.
“Karen’s proven expertise in maturing channel programs made her the perfect fit for our A/NZ Channels Director role as our priorities shift. I’m thrilled to welcome her to the team.”
The appointments come only a week after Ivanti appointed its new CEO, Jeff Abbott.
Abbott moves to the role after serving as Ivanti’s president since January 2020. He has over 25 years of experience working for large software and services companies, including Accenture, Oracle and Infor.
As President of Ivanti, he oversaw product and go-to-market strategy and execution, including product development, product management, marketing, global sales, customer experience and operations.
