New Zealand-based technology consultancy firm Theta has announced today that it has entered into a reseller alliance agreement with Canadian-based Project X for the promotion, sales and support of its Six Degrees enterprise planning software in Canada and the United States.

Established in 1995, Theta is a New Zealand-based technology consultancy firm with 165 staff and offices in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. The company is currently establishing an overseas partner ecosystem, initially in Australia and North America.

The Six Degrees software was developed over the last 2 years by Indigo New Zealand, which was recently acquired by Theta.

“Six Degrees reflects a pragmatic Kiwi approach to software development, building on world proven technologies from Microsoft and MicroStrategy to deliver a solution that offers both powerful financial planning and impressive analytics and reporting in one system,” the company says.

Project X is a MicroStrategy partner, with some of Canada's best-known organisations amongst its client base.

Project X will be showcasing Six Degrees at MicroStrategy World in Las Vegas this week, a high-profile event attended by more than 3,000 enterprise analytics experts. The company will also be pursuing a number of identified opportunities for Six Degrees in Toronto over the coming months.

The reseller alliance agreement with Project X is the first of its kind for Theta. Peter Hanley, head of Six Degrees, says, “Six Degrees is one of several Theta-developed applications ready for international markets.
