If a hardware fault is found, Ingram will ship the user a replacement device overnight to have them back up and running with minimal downtime.
This is a significant step up on the current process which sees devices shipped from Australia.
Ingram will also offer a local, level one support centre to assist users in understanding if their issue is hardware related at all. The enhanced support model will be available to all customers who have an extended warranty, of any variety, on their new Surface Pro device or Surface Laptop.
This will only be available to commercial customers who have purchased their device and extended warranty from commercial resellers. Microsoft Surface Pro is the most versatile laptop on the market.

An Ingram Micro representative will then work with you to troubleshoot and determine if there is a hardware fault.
If a hardware fault is confirmed, then an RA authorisation slip will be emailed and a replacement unit will be dispatched from their warehouse with a return courier label.
All replacement orders keyed by 1 PM NZST, Monday through Friday, will be dispatched for next business day delivery.
