Kordia adds managed security service provider to title

09 Jun 16

Telecommunications firm Kordia New Zealand can now add Managed Security Service Provider to it’s title, after the recent commissions of its AlienVault Unified Security Management platform.

The move sees AlienVault’s all-in-one USM platform enable Kordia to quickly deploy and monitor customer environments with robust asset discovery, vulnerability assessment, behavioural monitoring, threat detection and security intelligence.

Aaron Olphert, Kordia CTO, says the platform is designed and priced to ensure organisations can effectively defend themselves against today’s advanced threats, making it an ‘ideal service’ for New Zealand businesses.

"Kordia already provides a range of market leading managed network security products to our customers,” says Olphert

“Adding AlienVault to our security arsenal substantially enhances our value proposition for the mid-market.

“Working with AlienVault enables us to deliver what our customers want – bulletproof security information security – with ease of management and control,” he says.

Mike LaPeters, VP, Worldwide Channel Sales, AlienVault, adds, “Our technology combined with Kordia’s expertise provides companies of all sizes with limited security staff and IT budgets a complete security solution at a competitive price point.

“Kordia can now leverage AlienVault’s proven security and threat intelligence platform to help their customers reduce the time to detect and respond to today’s advanced threats.”
