Persistent named fastest-growing global IT services brand

Wed, 11th Feb 2026

Persistent has been named the fastest-growing IT services brand worldwide in the 2026 Brand Finance IT Services 25 report, after a 22% year-on-year rise in brand value.

The report placed Persistent among the world's top 25 IT services brands and ranked it 12th strongest in the sector, based on Brand Finance's Brand Strength Index (BSI).

Brand Finance valued Persistent's brand at USD $989 million for 2026, up from USD $811 million a year earlier. Its BSI increased to 75.8 from 74.8, and it retained an AA+ rating.

The Brand Finance IT Services 25 report tracks brand value and brand strength across the IT services sector. Brand Finance describes it as a global benchmark of leading brands, focusing on business performance, brand strength and longer-term market relevance.

Persistent has framed the recognition as a marker of a shift in its market identity-from a digital engineering provider to an enterprise transformation partner. It attributed the change to a tighter industry focus, investment in repeatable platforms and greater use of outcome-driven engagement models.

AI and platforms

A central theme in Persistent's messaging is the use of AI across delivery models, platforms and operations. It said its approach includes responsible AI practices, data modernisation, governance and talent readiness.

Persistent also described itself as an "ecosystem orchestrator" working with hyperscalers, technology partners, startups and advisers, saying these relationships have strengthened brand credibility and increased deal velocity.

The company also cited performance across key industry verticals and said it has delivered 23 consecutive quarters of revenue growth. It did not provide detailed financial figures alongside the brand valuation update, but the statement points to sustained growth across multiple reporting periods.

Persistent also referenced earlier recognition, saying it was named the fastest-growing IT services brand in the 2025 Brand Finance India 100 report and has recorded 468% growth in brand value since 2020.

People and ESG

Persistent said it continues to invest in employee programmes and internal training, highlighting inclusive benefits, Persistent University and company-wide AI readiness initiatives.

It also pointed to ESG activity through the Persistent Foundation and broader sustainability work, framing this as part of ongoing community engagement in its operating markets.

Brand valuation rankings can influence perception among buyers, partners and potential employees, particularly in services businesses where reputation and perceived ability to deliver at scale can affect procurement decisions. For listed services firms, these rankings can also shape how investors and analysts discuss competitive positioning.

Shimona Chadha, Chief Marketing Officer at Persistent, linked the ranking to the company's operating model and its work with major cloud providers.

"Persistent's recognition in the Brand Finance IT Services 25, alongside a 22% year-over-year increase in brand value, reflects the strength of a brand that has scaled with purpose as an enterprise transformation partner. Our growth is grounded in engineering depth, a platform-driven operating model, deep hyperscaler partnerships and a disciplined approach to moving AI from experimentation into enterprise adoption. This recognition reinforces the long-term value we continue to build through relevance, trust and sustained execution across global markets."

Brand Finance Chairman and CEO David Haigh also highlighted growth and the role of partnerships in larger transformation projects.

"Persistent is a fast-growing technology services brand with increasing brand value supported by sustained, broad-based revenue growth. Its ability to leverage hyperscaler partnerships and deep digital engineering expertise has enabled the company to secure large-scale, AI-led transformation programs. Together, these factors reflect clear market positioning, consistent business delivery and an operating model that continues to strengthen Persistent's brand relevance in the global IT services sector."
