Riverbed washes into Auckland
Sat, 1st Sep 2007
FYI, this story is more than a year old

Due to its growth in Australia, performance leading wide-area data services provider, Riverbed, has made the move into New Zealand with a new office in Auckland.  The goal is to better serve the New Zealand market, and Andrew Cashmore has been appointed regional sales manager in New Zealand.  Working with Andrew is Mike Weinstock, Riverbed’s new New Zealand sales engineer.  Cashmore is now responsible for growing Riverbed’s market presence in the region, including expanding Riverbed’s network of resellers and partners.  “New Zealand has a significant number of remote sites, making the acceleration provided by Riverbed’s WDS solutions a must-have for distributed organisations that would like to collaborate in real-time,” said Steve Dixon, regional director, ANZ for Riverbed.  “Both Andrew and Mike have deep knowledge of the New Zealand market, and their strong backgrounds in software and networking make them ideal candidates to build on our early successes in the region.”
