Vudoo strengthens global strategy with key appointments

Vudoo, a company specialising in advertising commerce technology, has announced two prominent appointments to strengthen its international strategy.

Ben Buckley has been appointed to the board of Vudoo, bringing a wealth of experience from various sectors, including media, technology, and consumer marketing. His previous roles have included Marketing Director at Nike, Executive Director of Content Partnerships at Foxtel, Managing Director at COSOL, Chief Operating Officer of the Australian Football League, Chief Executive Officer of Football Federation Australia, and Chair of the North Melbourne Football Club.

Buckley will provide strategic guidance and oversight to Vudoo as it continues to expand internationally. He will also contribute to product development to ensure Vudoo maintains its position in the commerce media industry. Vudoo's CEO and Founder, Nick Morgan, expressed excitement about Buckley's appointment, stating, "We are thrilled to have Ben on Vudoo's board. Sarah Lawson Johnston has been appointed as Managing Director for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. She joins Vudoo with three decades of experience in the advertising technology industry. Her role is expected to be crucial for the growth of Vudoo's presence in the EMEA region. Previously, Lawson Johnston served as Chief Revenue Officer at Covatic, where she was instrumental in launching their privacy-focused audience targeting solution. Earlier in her career, she was Managing Director of Agency Partnerships for EMEA at Hudson MX and devoted over 20 years to Mediaocean, eventually becoming their Managing Director for Europe.

Nick Morgan welcomed Lawson Johnston to the company, saying, "We are delighted to welcome Sarah to Vudoo. Her wealth of experience and deep expertise in the advertising technology sector will be invaluable as Vudoo seeks to continue on its trajectory. This appointment marks a significant step in Vudoo's international expansion strategy, following a year after its product launch into global markets. The company has also made several other strategic appointments recently, including naming Drew Perry as its new Managing Director for the Asia Pacific and appointing Raj Chauhan as President for the Americas.

Vudoo has formed partnerships with several prominent publishers and global clients including News Corp, Scroll Media, Forever New, and S&P Global. The firm has executed campaigns for brands such as Hilton, Samsung, and Burberry, further solidifying its position in the global advertising commerce landscape.
