Appian has named Accenture, Deloitte, Roboyo and Conexxia as the winners of its 2026 Asia Pacific and Japan Partner Awards, recognising work in ecosystem growth, client transformation, innovation and delivery.

The four partners were selected for projects and programmes across Australia, New Zealand and Japan, with a focus on process automation and artificial intelligence in business and public sector operations.

Scott Van Valkenburgh, Senior Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels at Appian, outlined the rationale for the awards.

"Our 2026 APJ Partner Award winners demonstrate the different ways partners create value with AI automation for critical processes across the Appian ecosystem," said Scott Van Valkenburgh, Senior Vice President of Global Alliances and Channels at Appian. "Accenture has accelerated the growth of Appian capability across Australia and New Zealand, while Deloitte has led a complex public sector transformation. Meanwhile, Roboyo has embedded AI in process to deliver measurable operational value, and Conexxia has demonstrated delivery excellence across a complex program. Together, their achievements reflect the strength and growing maturity of our partner ecosystem across the region."

Ecosystem growth

Accenture received the Ecosystem Growth Award for expanding its Appian practice and market presence across Australia and New Zealand. The consultancy increased local skills and certifications, linked regional teams with its wider network of Appian specialists, and adapted existing assets for the local market.

This helped build a larger regional base for customer projects and partner activity. Accenture's combination of industry knowledge, existing corporate relationships and reusable solutions supported organisations seeking to modernise core processes and apply AI in broader programmes.

Appian also pointed to Accenture's work with major enterprises and government bodies in the region, citing local investment and collaboration as factors behind the award.

Public sector project

Deloitte won the Transformation Award for its work with Long Service Corporation on a new digital application for the New South Wales Community Services Industry portable long service leave scheme. The project brought together legislative requirements, operational processes and technical delivery on a tight timetable.

The application now supports more than 220,000 workers as they begin accruing portable long service leave across multiple employers. Appian described the system as secure, accessible and scalable, reflecting the demands of a public sector service with a broad user base.

The award highlights the role of partners in implementing process software in regulated environments, where delivery often depends on translating policy rules into digital workflows while maintaining access for large numbers of users.

AI use case

Roboyo received the Innovation Award for work with the National Injury Insurance Scheme Queensland, where Appian AI was used to transform invoice processing. The project combined generative AI with optical character recognition to reduce manual handling and shift staff time towards participant-focused work.

The system delivered an estimated 9x ROI, cut manual effort by up to 90% and achieved 100% data-extraction accuracy. It also reduced a key process from five days to less than one day.

These results place the project among a growing number of automation deployments in public services, where agencies are seeking measurable efficiency gains rather than experimental AI roll-outs. In this case, the focus was a defined back-office process with clear time and accuracy metrics.

Delivery record

Conexxia took the Delivery Excellence Award for a multi-stream transformation programme on the Appian platform. The partner used governance controls, customer collaboration and an agile delivery approach to bring several business processes into one environment.

The programme replaced paper-heavy work with digital self-service and real-time reporting, while improving processing speed and consistency in decision-making. The result was a better user experience alongside operational improvements.

The recognition reflects the importance Appian places on implementation partners that can manage complexity across larger programmes. Bringing multiple process streams into a single platform can be difficult for organisations moving away from fragmented manual systems.

Across the four awards, the common thread is the use of partners to broaden Appian's reach in the region and deliver customer projects with visible operational outcomes. The winners span consulting, implementation and specialised automation work, suggesting Appian sees regional growth as closely tied to the depth of its partner network.

The awards also point to where software vendors and service providers are directing effort in Asia Pacific and Japan: public sector delivery, workflow modernisation, and narrower AI applications tied to process redesign rather than stand-alone tools.

For customers, the examples cited by Appian show a mix of strategic expansion and project execution. Some awards focused on building local expertise and market coverage, while others turned on delivery results in specific programmes, including large worker schemes, invoice operations and paper-based process redesign.

The four winners were Accenture for Ecosystem Growth, Deloitte for Client Transformation, Roboyo for Innovative Solution and Conexxia for Delivery Excellence.
