OpenText launches new Partner Enterprise Learning Subscription

Yesterday

OpenText has introduced a new Partner Enterprise Learning Subscription aimed at improving partner skills and customer assurance.

The initiative, announced at OpenText World 2024 in Sydney, Australia, gives OpenText partners the resources to develop necessary skills on a large scale. Customers can verify that their chosen partners possess the relevant product-related expertise, ensuring confidence in partner selection. This move is part of OpenText's ongoing investment in its Partner Network, facilitating growth and sustainability in OpenText practices.

The Partner Enterprise Learning Subscription offers a cost-effective solution to address skills gaps and provides partners with comprehensive insights into available skills across geographically dispersed teams.

It enables the adoption of a flexible, just-in-time learning model at scale, offering unlimited access to self-paced training, hands-on lab environments, and certification vouchers. Training analytics are integrated to allow partners to measure consumption and track skill acquisition. Partners now, for the first time, have a complete view of certifications within their company, per practitioner, product, or country.

OpenText's commitment to mandatory product certification for practitioners in key technical roles within partner organisations further emphasises the importance of this initiative. Joel Kremke, Senior Vice President of Channel and Alliances at OpenText, highlighted the significance of this development: "Supporting our Partners to drive great customer outcomes is fundamental to our collective success. Ensuring every individual in the Partners' teams has the right skills and product certifications to provide the high-quality advice and service that customers expect is crucial."

He added, "High levels of training and product certification are a great way for Partners to stand out and gain the advantage in those competitive bids. It's also great for customers who can confidently choose the right Partner for their project, safe in the knowledge that they have the right expertise to achieve a successful outcome."

The programme includes a revamped Partner Directory on the OpenText website, which will list all certifications held by each partner organisation.

This is expected to serve as a critical tool for customers seeking highly skilled practitioners and for partners aiming to distinguish themselves in the marketplace. OpenText emphasised the necessity of ensuring all partners can effectively implement or support their products and solutions to ensure successful customer outcomes.

OpenText partners can access available learning paths and product certifications as an initial step towards evaluating the necessary content for a learning subscription. Details regarding the new Partner Enterprise Learning Subscription are provided directly by OpenText.
