Westcon-Comstor’s Tech Xpert community now boasts 3,000 members
Westcon-Comstor has announced that its Tech Xpert community has reached a significant milestone with 3,000 members. This community, designed for technical professionals in the channel, provides a platform for exchanging ideas and peer-to-peer learning without sales pressures.
Initially launched across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region in 2022, Tech Xpert aims to bring together cybersecurity and networking experts in a collaborative environment. Membership offers access to a range of benefits including training, events, insights, networking opportunities, and points-based participation rewards to drive competitive advantage and increase adoption of new technologies.
The focus of Tech Xpert is on sharing knowledge and best practices within the channel, thereby enabling partners to deliver superior solutions to end-users. Following its success in EMEA, the Tech Xpert community is now expanding to the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. The APAC expansion will initially cover Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Hong Kong, and India.
Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President of Westcon EMEA Cybersecurity & Next-Generation Solutions at Westcon-Comstor, highlighted the unique nature of the community. "As the first tech-exclusive, multi-vendor community for peer-sharing between partner, distributor and vendor, Tech Xpert represents something truly unique for the channel," said Hurel. He further explained that members gain exclusive access to the 3D Lab, a secure cloud environment for testing multi-vendor cybersecurity solutions and use cases within 48 hours of request. "This, coupled with the recent introduction of our interactive Tech ConneX platform, is driving strong Tech Xpert momentum and growth. We fully expect this to continue in EMEA and be replicated in Asia-Pacific."
