The recognition is based on a range of evaluation metrics, including product capabilities, market understanding, innovation and strategy. New Relic remains the only company in its sector to have consistently been named a Leader since 2012.
The Gartner report, which assesses various observability vendors, highlighted several key strengths of New Relic's platform, including its flexible licensing model, AI monitoring capabilities and a consolidated data platform. Recent advancements in the platform include improvements in log storage, cost optimisation, AI-driven application performance insights, and enhanced support for OpenTelemetry.
